Rose Quartz Small Anatomical Style Heart

Rose Quartz is a member of the Quartz family that usually occurs in massive pieces but can sometimes grow in clusters of small prismatic crystals. It is a silicon dioxide (SiO₂) crystal with a hexagonal crystal system. Naturally faceted terminations may occur on one or both ends.

It is estimated that about 1/3 of Earth’s crust is made up of some form of Quartz, with most Quartz said to be 100-125 million years old. Found on every continent, Quartz forms in a wide range of environments.

The size is approximately 3 x 2 x 1.25 inches and weighs 10 ounces.
