Clearing My Chakras Through Grief: How the Kejiwa Workbook Helped Me Breathe Again

Losing my sweet boy Dexter has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever felt. The kind of grief that hits your chest before you even have time to think. It’s overwhelming, heavy, and honestly it made my whole energy system feel completely out of place.

I knew I needed something to pull me back into myself — not to erase the grief, but to help me function inside of it. I wanted to feel present enough to remember Dexter with love, not just pain.

So I reached for the Kejiwa Chakra Activation Guided Workbook, and it ended up being exactly what I needed.

This isn’t a workbook you just flip through and forget. It makes you slow down. It gives you structure when your emotions feel too big. The combination of journal prompts, simple chakra explanations, yoga poses, breathwork, and grounding exercises pulled me out of my spiraling thoughts and into my body again.

Here’s what actually helped me:

Root Chakra: Getting my body out of panic mode

The grounding practices helped me come back into my legs, my breath, my space. Grief makes you feel like you’re floating in the worst way, and this brought me back down.

Heart Chakra: Sitting with love instead of collapse

This section hit the hardest. It let me honor the grief without drowning in it. I could feel the love I had for Dexter, not just the ache of losing him.

Crown Chakra: Perspective without forcing positivity

This part helped me shift my focus. Instead of replaying his last moments, I started remembering that he’s not suffering anymore. That small shift didn’t fix everything, but it made me feel less broken.

Working through this book didn’t make the grief disappear — but it cleared enough emotional noise for me to breathe again. It helped me see that what I’m feeling is love with nowhere to go, and that’s okay. It reminded me that I can be heartbroken and still grounded, emotional and still centered.

If you’re moving through grief, burnout, or emotional overload, this workbook is gentle but real support.

It helped me get back into my energy instead of being swallowed by it.

And right now, that’s what healing looks like for me.
